When I think of Aditya Birla these are the things that come to my mind: “Stay true to your values. That’s why you were a success in the first place, and that’s how you make incredible things happen.”

Aditya Birla brings various international brands and the best of the best together. We use ABG products in our everyday life. It is impossible for anyone to not have used an ABG product. Everybody in India knows ABG as a brand and is very dependent on it. People in India rely on ABG Cement, ABG Health Insurance, ABG Financial Services. ABG has made a brand image in the minds of the consumers: “You have to stay true to your heritage; that’s what your brand is about”

Be it in providing a safe tiffin for everyone at home in Freshpakk or Freshwrapp or be it shopping for clothes. They have covered mostly all segments like for formals they have Allen Solly and Van Heusen and for casuals they have Pantaloons, Peter England, Forever 21. They even have touched the luxury sector Ted Baker, Hackett, Ralph Lauren, The Collective. I can rely on these brands without a doubt. Aditya Birla brings these international brands to India which puts India in a better position when it comes to economy.

As a leading brand they are big on CSR activities and give back in abundance to the society:

  • They provided solar lamps for 450,000 school children.
  • Mid-day meals every day for 63,000 children in 268 schools.
  • Runs 5000 medical camps and 20 hospitals.
  • Immunised 70 million children against polio.
  • Works in 5,000 villages.
  • Skill training for 95,000 people.

“Whenever you see a successful person you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them.”

As a kid when I used to fail at things I used to go to my dad and tell him about the events that happened and how I failed at it, he would always hug me and say that everything turns out the way it is for a reason and usually it is for the better. I never understood it at that time, while growing up I started reflecting on things and on events that affected me and I noticed that my dad was right. Everything happens for a reason and it is for the best. We don’t learn lessons without failures and the only way we are successful is when we fall and learn to pick ourselves up.

I watch a lot of Ted talks and other motivational videos about positivity, failures and how to overcome people judging you for failing and other issues. It has really helped me grow as a person. There are people who went through the similar phases and picked themselves up and our happy in their life now. My dad always told me that when your unhappy and not contended with what u have in life look at the people below you, who aren’t blessed with what you have and immediately you will feel grateful for the life that you live. I do charity and help the under privileged in my own little way I try and give back as much as I can to the society. This truly brings me peace.
