Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
“Always Big in your life” would be an understatement when one has to describe the impact of the Aditya Birla Group in the lives of Indian citizens and even beyond. Starting off in 1930 with a vision to be a premium global conglomerate and a mission to deliver superior value to shareholders, employees and the society and then walking the talk by making the impact that the Group has today on the lives of millions of people is a massive feat. Initially, establishing a footprint in the textile and aluminium industry with Grasim and Hindalco in the 1930s to then trailblazing its way through the segments of cement (Ultra Tech), chemicals, financial services, carbon, telecom (Vodafone-Idea), fashion & retail (ABFRL) with the same level of consistency is what sets the Aditya Birla Group apart from the other conglomerates in the game. While making the decision to purchase any Aditya Birla product, it gives you a sense of pride and responsibility when you realize that it is produced in a sustainable manner and the proceeds are also employed in social awareness and improvement activities.
Personally, as a healthcare professional (Pharmacist), the work done by the Aditya Birla group in the fields of healthcare and family welfare by operating over 20 hospitals where around 5,00,000 patients get subsidized healthcare and driving sustainable livelihood projects which reach more than 80,000 people is truly inspiring. From the clothes one wears to building and infrastructure materials and the telecom space, the Aditya Birla Group touches our lives at every point in a really big way. In a nutshell, the consistency across domains in the business side of things and the all stakeholder encompassing practice coupled with heavy investment in improving the society where the group operates are some aspects that inspire me and make me believe that the Aditya Birla Group has made a significant and huge contribution in almost every aspect of my life.
