As I sit down to write this story, I'm starting to think when was the last time I penned down my feelings for a company which has been so deeply ingrained in our lives in some way that we've found a home within a home.
Sure, there is Google which we use every day that has become a house hold name, but that is too western. Can I think of an Indian conglomerate for a household name? Yes, thanks to the Birla group which has planted the Indian flag on the world map with it's success.
Not just any success, but the kinda success that makes you say Wah !! I wouldn't be surprised if in an alternate universe the Taj Mahal has been built as an ode to the nation by the Birlas. Such has been their service to the nation.
If I take a trip down the memory lane, Idea cellular's walk and talk theme advertisement is one example where they make ads
addressing the need to stay fit resembles their idea of what message you can convey to the society instead of just pushing your product.
Fun facts aside, education is the most important and fundamental thing that plants a seed of success for a person. Their institute BITS Pilani is one where students dream of and have it on their bucket list. If you as an organization are on the wishlist that would act as a stepping stone for someone's education and wellbeing, then rest assured, you have achieved that noble honour which others would only think of.
As I speak of education, one of the biggest challenges that I faced as a student when I was in school is to set a not so honoroble record of not passing my math exam for 13 consecutive times. And now I know why they say 13 is the most hated number in the world !
But, I kept pushing myself and gave my best, to pass and prove to myself more than anyone else that I am more capable than what I think of. And successful I have become, in my actual board exam, when I passed the exam with humble 40 marks but with a big wide grin on my face.
I often try to imbibe one or the other characteristic trait that I can draw inspiration from. For me, it is work hard in silence, let your success do the talking. ABG has won a million hearts with their humble, zero frills etiquette. It is this trait that I will keep close to my heart as and when I achieve new strides of success.
