Right from when I was a small kid the first thing I remember about school is my mother preparing food and packing it inside a lunch box and keeping it securely in my bag. As soon as I heard the recess bell the first thing I did was unwrap the food that was being wrapped inside "Freshwrapp aluminum foils" Being a kid I always wondered what magic does this foil has that my food is always fresh. This was my first encounter with an Aditya Birla Group product that I can remember.
Then I left my home and went to kota for further studies but the first thing I had to do was to buy a sim card so I could easily contact my parents. There was only one choice on my mind, Idea (now Vodafone Idea). The first sim card for every student is very cherishable as it has many memories with it and “Idea” for me served that purpose.
Then I went to an engineering college, and fashion is something synonymous with college.

Then I started working. Meetings, presentations etc. became a part of my schedule and Aditya Birla Group again with its subsidiary Van Huesen and Louis Philippe came to my rescue. They say first impression is the last impression and Aditya Birla Group did just the same for me when I was just a little kid.
They have been changing our lives for good ever since right from Ultratech cement to Grasim Textiles to Financial Services.
b) How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
Challenges are something synonymous with life. Its not about what challenge we face but all about how we decide to overcome it that matters.
I went to kota for IIT-JEE preparations and spent two years there. It's a very tough place to be especially if you're not used to the adverse climatic conditions there. After struggling for nearly two years I managed to complete my coaching and came back home, it felt like a big achievement back then but little did I know it the achievement was about to be short lived.
Around a week before the JEE exam I experienced severe headache. Headache for me back then meant taking a medicine and sleeping for some time and when you wake up the headache is all gone. But this wasn't just any headache that would go away, it was the start of migraine. The next 10 days were all about hospitals, scans, headaches, medicines.
I had to miss my JEE and AIEEE exam due to this. It felt like the lowest point of my life. I wanted to get into a good engineering college but all my dreams were getting crushed. All I wanted to do was get into a government engineering college. The medication for migraine started but the exams for various colleges had gone by. It was at that time that I decided that I'll take admission into a private college and work hard there to not only get a job on par with the various government institutes but also be a role model for my peers.
After 4 years I got a job from the campus recruitment itself. After a few years I started preparing for CAT and now I'm currently a student of one of India's premier b-school IMI, New Delhi.
It's not about what you face it's all about how you deal with it and had I not been strong and self motivated during my engineering entrance exams itself I don't think I could have been a part of IMI today.
