From being a bulk supplier to cement in Bandra–Worli sea link to retail fashion shops they have entered various industries and have aced them as well. Aditya Birla Group is involved in each person’s life by making their tyres safer with carbon nanoparticles technology to production of aluminium glass used in manufacture of screens for smartphones and from fashion apparels to be a prominent brand in formals for both men and women they have left their footprints everywhere. They are not only touching human lives; they have also emerged as environment saviour. Aditya Birla Group is world’s second largest producer of tin cans and world’s largest recycler of same. Name a retail outlet or brand you trust they have entered your life in every aspect. Ralph Lauren, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peer England to Pantaloons they are involved with all society strata.
For me Aditya Birla group is big in my life as the first set of formals owned by me was from their esteemed brand Allen Solly and after then there was no return. For me it was a trusted brand as it provided one with premium quality. One can never forget the feeling of wearing their first formals and so am I. Their various initiatives such as development of vaccination program which reached out to 3 million children in just seven years, running of 5000 medical caps annually in 20 hospitals, to providing physically disabled with amputees are some part of their corporate societal responsibility project. These projects have touched millions of lives around the world and have helped them to lead a better life. Their ideology of returning to society with what they have earned from them makes them big for me. A corporates house may b termed big in terms of its net worth but for me Aditya Birla Group is big because of its initiative taken for society and environment.

"Right to chase dreams"
India shows expediate growth in terms of literacy however there is still a societal stratum where a gender has to fight for it’s right to education. I was born to parents struggling with fertility issues and being a first born after seven years brought several apprehensions of society and relatives for being a girl. Born to parents with liberal minds living in orthodox family with below middle class financial status brought a burden of apprehensions and hopes to carry with the very start of my journey before it even began. Getting admission in private school with a fee waiver was one part of the story and being a topper of the class was another. Success did not come easy to me unlike others, struggling with a language unknown to my family to acing it defines the stretch of pertinent efforts put in. As soon as the success came dreams start budding. The dream to do something big in life was challenged my many and helped by none. With the constant support of my parents the zeal to attain heights was the only aim of my life, however the life struck it when I was at my best. Though having parents with liberal minds but sometimes society’s words left a scar on adolescent mind. Still the wish to make my parents proud of me kept the flame of desire burning in me. After completion of school and graduation I soon realized that I belong to business world and felt the need to learn managerial skills. The preparation of common aptitude test was not easy for me as it began with concealing my desire from parents in order to prevent them from being in disturbed mental state because of the hefty fees required. I prepared without telling anyone. The real challenge was the preparation which involved lot of stress handling as well as concealing it from parents. With consistent efforts I pulled it off with grace and converted into one of the premiere B-schools in India. Securing admission was still easy but getting my parents on board was not that easy. I had to make them believe that not everyone gets this chance and this opportunity could turn my career on whole. This challenge was well accepted and as well as fulfilled. I had to prove them and I did that. The traits that kept on making me overcome all the challenges that came along were consistent efforts, determination, willpower and the trait of never giving up in situation no matter whatever happens.
