In life, challenges are part and parcel. In order to succeed, it is important to face these challenges head - on because even if we do fail, we would learn how to do it right. Majority of the challenges I faced were in my tenure at Rotaract when responsibilities were immense and it was imperative to carry on the activities for the smooth functioning. In the year when I was the Secretary of the Rotaract Club of Andheri, when the year had started, the President had to step down because of certain personal reasons and the burden of taking the mantle of the club was in my hands. The challenge at that time were the people in the club as they had joined thinking that the President would be someone else and had a rapport with him. When the decision finally came of me becoming the President, the biggest challenge was to make the people believe in my ideologies and making the transition smooth for them as far as possible. During the year various other challenges as far as the Human Resources was concerned were faced but at the end when the club secured the 24th Rank in the then R.I.D. 3140, it was a moment of pride and joy as the hard work had finally paid off. This was followed by the year of becoming the Joint Secretary of the district when in the first quarter the team was considered as the underdogs, but at the end of the year bagged the award for the Best Team.

Through the various challenges faced, I learnt my capabilities and made me a stronger person then what I was and made it possible for me to understand myself better.
