Like many others, I have been fortunate enough to experience the vivacity that Aditya Birla Group brings into our lives. Recently, I moved into my new house at the core of which is UltraTech Cement and various Building Solutions which can be trusted upon. One stop solution for the apparel needs and desires are brands like Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe and the budget section which includes brands like Peter England and Pantaloons which have been of immense help to get occasion ready. I have also been a long time user of its Telecom Services IDEA whose seamless services have retained many others like me as a satisfied customer while building a trustworthy network.

Its one of the many businesses,  Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Private Limited (ABSTCPL) offers sustainability research like energy conservation studies, fresh water conservation and waste water treatment, along with others. One of its kind, the CSR activities aims to build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society and raise the country's human development index by reaching out to humongous 7.5 million, treating over a million patients in around 5000 medical camps and 20 hospitals.

All these things help me in building a progressive relationship with Aditya Birla Group.

How I Overcame Challenges in my Life

“Failure is not Fatal, Failure is inevitable. If you don’t fail, it perhaps means you aren’t taking enough risks.”  -- Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla.

As said by the Visionary man himself, Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, it is important that you make mistakes and more importantly what learning you get out of those which carves your future and the kind of person you want to be. Facing Challenges are part and parcel of one’s life and rising against all the odds is a sign of a true champion and measure of one’s success as well.

One such failure I experienced was during the start of my professional career. I was out of my comfort zone for the first time in my life when I moved to a metropolitan city and started working with a multinational organization. Maintaining the work-life balance eventually took a heavy toll on my work performance which ultimately reflected on my profile at the end of the financial year.

My guilt conscience triggered me from inside as this was not the person I strive to be and that led to a more focused and dedicated approach in achieving my goal and at the same time leading to my professional development which ultimately gave fruitful results at the end of second year. This was something I can now relate myself to.

In whole of the experience, the most important learning I got was to focus on the process rather than on the goals, doing my basics right and not get burdened by the Fear of Failure.
