Part B
I have fortunately and unfortunately had an opportunity to travel to different states in the country and witness different cultures.
I have lived for a significant time in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Pune and Mumbai.
Having spent the maximum amount of time in Delhi, I have learnt the art of being fun loving and socially entertaining. I also learnt to be independent during the my stay in the Capital of our country, specially in terms of being able to travel across the city using public transport without assistance during my school days. However, being innocent and not knowing the wrongs that happen in the society, I happened to face a few indecent incidents which lowered my confidence, and to an extent made me less independent.
It took me several months and a lot of self motivation to get ahead of the fear of traveling alone and dealing with public transport vendors.
My parents made sure I got through the phase gradually and smoothly. Alongside the support, I believe it is extremely important to be self motivated and never let incidents affect one's life.
Today, I am extremely confident and capable of managing people and handling any unfortunate situations that I come across.
