Part A- Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life
I clearly remember 15 years back when our house was being built & there were discussions with the contractor about which cement to be used for the construction of our house & my father said to the contractor that none other than Ultratech cement has to be used. Through Ultratech Cement, I feel Aditya Birla Group is present everywhere in our country, it has played a very important role in giving scenic beauty to various parts of our country.
So, my relation with Aditya Birla Group started then & since then I have been using the different brands of Aditya Birla Group whether it's going to Pantaloons, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe to shop or to getting finance of my education loan from it. Aditya Birla Group has played a very important role in diversifying the consumer choice by bringing down various foreign brands like Allen Solly, Peter England, Louis Philippe to the people of India.
Aditya Birla Group has also played an important role in connecting people with their loved ones who are far from them by its widely spread Idea network. The advertisement showing Abhishek Bachan asking people to walk while you talk was a big hit & everyone still remembers that ad. With Idea's merger with Vodafone on August 31, 2018, it became the .largest telecom company in terms of subscribers and revenue, surpassing Airtel.
The Group's non-ferrous metals' business under Hindalco Industries has made it possible for all those who love to drink cold drinks in cans as those cans are made by Hindalco Plant & recycled by them also.
Part B- How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
There are very few instances in one's life where he or she doesn't have to face challenges towards achieving ambitions in their lives. But what makes that journey sweet & worth remembering is how you overcome those challenges & succeed. It is the journey that one cherishes for the whole life.
There have been many such instances in my life as well where I had to face challenges while moving ahead in my life. One such instance was to convince my father to let me pursue Science in 11th class as he wanted me to take Commerce. He thought everyone in my family is from Commerce background & won't be able to guide me in my studies if I took Science, but I asked him to have faith in me & told him I would work hard & get into a good institute to do my B.tech.
I also believed in not putting my goals off until someday. My goal was always important to me, so I created a timeline started working on it the day I decided to take Science & kept telling myself that I can tackle it. I used to think about potential pitfalls that I might face and develop a plan for dealing with those times when I might be tempted to give up. When you have a plan, you will feel more confident in your ability to keep going.
