Aditya Birla- Not just a legacy, but a journey that created life-time memories for me!!

Aditya Birla group has been a part of my life since childhood that’s because my dad is an employee of the reputed company “Hindalco Industries”. Contributing my loyalty towards the company it is very unlikely that I have never used a product, or traveled on a road or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in some way. ABG with 149 years of its existence, be it finance, retail, fashion, manufacturing or telecom has marked the epitome of success.
Being a part of the Marketing constitution, my dad had a transferable job, which never let me stay in one place for a long time. Initially, it was disheartening for me, but now when I look back I feel that my dad’s job helped me interact with different people belonging to different cultures. It helped me to know the uniqueness which each of them had. It helped me open up as a person and with time, I was no longer an introvert. Not just this, Hindalco, used to organize trips for his employees and their families as a token of appreciation for all the hard work they put in. Thanks to Hindalco for making my childhood memories filled with places all the way from “Kashmir to the tip Kanyakumari”. Since my dad had given me, such uncountable memories, so as I grew up, I thought I should make my dad a little happy and proud of me. I think I made him proud the day I got my first salary and yes a little happy when I chose to give him a shirt from my very own salary. I was never hesitant about choosing the brand because when it comes to quality and comfort, nobody can beat Allen Solly. He was extremely delighted seeing that shirt not because I gave him his favorite brand shirt but because it belonged to ABG, a loyal employee indeed. Not just fashion, but ABG has helped my dad’s dream of building blocks come into reality. Thanks to ultra tech cement which helped my dad create a strong edifice for his dream house. And not to forget, Hindalco caters to the needs of not just his employee but also his family. The health insurance has brought smiles onto people’s faces when all hopes were lost.
Indeed, the tagline Taking India to the world is very well justified since every brand associated with this group aims at making people’s life simpler. ABG for me is not just a group of industries but a close-knit or a family who continues to showcase its legacy with its fine quality of work in every field.

How you overcame challenges to make your ambitions in life so far.
One should face reality and not run away!!
People want this world to be free of problems, but is that even possible? What would people do if one had no problem to tackle? I believe the hurdles that we meet makes us the person we are today. Every problem we tackle is a step towards shaping our personality. This might sound weird to you, but this is the sour reality.
2 years back, I shifted to Hyderabad to start my new professional life. Like all others, I was filled with enthusiasm and curiosity awaiting my life to unfold. But then deep inside, I was petrified because this was the very first time, I was about to stay in a new city without my parents. I was scared of the upcoming responsibilities, not just professionally but also personally. I was ready for the roller coaster ride that was about to begin. The first 6 months brought tears to my eyes. My day began by waking up late in the morning because there was no mom to keep me on time to skipping breakfast almost every day. This had become my daily routine. Struggle in the hostel never ended. From struggling to work the washing machine to using the induction to make the Maggi for dinner had become my daily problems. This continued for about 2 months, when one fine day, I sat down and started pondering that is this how things will be? Is this how messed up my life will be? Until and unless I don’t try, I won't be able to succeed. That was the day, I promised myself to learn and give it another shot. That’s when I started learning new things. Now my dinner was not limited to Maggi but now I used to explore new dishes seeing on YouTube. Now, mom was no more my alarm, but my discipline was my alarm. Now life no more struggled around the washing machines, instead now I had the learned the art of washing different clothes and not mixing white with other colored clothes. So to keep it short, everyone goes through this phase, where one is clueless about what is going on, but we need to keep going. One needs to overcome the challenges by facing it and not by running away.
