My first memory regarding Aditya Birla Group takes me back to the early 2000’s. It was summer and one of my neighbour was off to the vacation. My father told me that they were going to ‘Muri’ a small town near Ranchi-The place where I come from. I was puzzled as I have seen this place when i used to go to my Nani’s house. It was a small dusty, laidback town with scorching heat in summers. Then my father told me that they will visit the Hindalco plant and the Plant and will stay there in the guest house of the Hindalco. The grandeur by which my father introduced me with the ABG made me curious and I went to Encarta to enquire more (Since there was no google). Being a child and growing in the time where the pop culture was just in its inception, I imagined my self in the boardroom giving extravagant speeches-A Typical Bollywood drama. Thereafter I got a chance of visiting the Plant and was mesmerised by the colossal size and scale of the working. This was the first time ABG made a mark in my mind. The impression that turned into a memory. A beautiful one.

Hindalco has been part of my life form the time I remember. It has touched on the most dearest part of my life, something that made me what I am, Something that is related to the most beautiful time-My tiffin box. There lies the love of a mother rapped carefully and cautiously in Aluminium foil. That tiffin was not just another meal it is a memory an Era, All kept in the warmth of one of the iconic products of Hindalco-The Fresh Wrap Aluminium Foil. This foil has been a part of the not only me but for the whole generation of the students of my age as well as current school going children. It was literally the closest to my heart, my food. The rustling sound of the wrap made a cognitive memory for me that something tasty is into making.

This is my story and how Hindalco made a mark in my mind. It is imprinted somewhere in my memory which will be expunged only when I am done on this Planet. This memory will resonate to the future generation as well. With the warmth and freshness that I got in my lunch break, looking forward to give the same warmth in the tiffin of my children. Hope the story continues forever.
