How Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?

Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think of Indian Conglomerates that have made it large in the entire world. ABG is currently in the league for fortune 500. ABG spans a total of 34 countries and employs 1,20,000 employees. This group hasn’t just made it large in the world, but has touched many lives including mine.

Aditya Birla Group has touched my life on a day to day basis.

Firstly, I have been using Vodafone Idea since a long time. It has helped me connect with my family and friends by providing high speed internet in even remote part of India. Secondly, when you are entering a B-school, formals become an integral part of your life. When it comes to buying formal brands like Peter England and Allen Solly comes to our mind and I ended up buying all my formals from there.

Thirdly, the Aditya Birla Group has also had a role in keeping my food hygienic and fresh for almost 15 years. I remember my mother packing my food for school in Freshwrapp which is a product by ABG.

The More store in Rohini, Delhi is the place from where my family

Fourthly, Ultratech cement is also a part of ABG. I remember when we were building our own house two years back the only brand that we went with was Ultratech. The beautiful Bandra-Worli Sea Link is another beautiful standing testimony of how they’ve made India beautiful, while connecting the two sides of the city, Mumbai.

The Aditya Birla Group is also into its CSR initiatives like Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and its endeavour in making model villages is indeed making our society better. It reaches out to 7.5million people annually by its initiatives. It runs 56 schools to provide education to 46,500 children and also provdies mid day meals to 74000 children by its Akshaya Patra program. This proves that ABG group is acting responsibly towards its actions which will impact the future generations.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambition in life so far:

In my life, I have lived in different parts of India. For my graduation I went to Pune after which I lived In Mumbai for my training then I went to Gurgaon for my induction. Then I got a job in Durgapur from where I went to Kolkata after which I am now currently in Bangalore for my post graduation, and I am born and brought up in Delhi. So Learning new cultures, languages, meeting new people, making new friends, it all seems difficult, especially to someone who is not so much of an extrovert. I don’t socialize much and also I am someone who takes time to open up. So I found it difficult to explain to the society that I am not rude or arrogant but just someone who takes a little time to open up. After realizing the fact that its important to maintain a cordial relationship with your colleagues and seniors i thought of overcoming my weakness. It took some time but I realized that in order to grow both in my personal and professional life I need to overcome this challenge. I took some time but now I am someone who finds it easy to interact with even a stranger and since  when I am pursuing my masters in business management I realize that overcoming this challenge in early stages of my life has really proven well for me. This is one of the challenges I have faced in my life and the one in which I have put in the most amount of hardwork.
