Ambition - Not the vice of little people.

Life is a journey to the unknown place whose map you are sort of provided with, they are your parents. They help you read and understand the map and guide you when you encounter trenches and uneven surfaces. They are the wheels to a riding bicycle and we are the riders of the bicycle. They put forth their ideas and opinions so that we draw inferences and modify and supplement it. They help envision your goals and ambitions and do every possible thing to help you be and get there. The ambition to crack the Common Admission Test (CAT) got into me when I wanted to change the way I thought about business and outlook on various aspects when I was having a monotonous day at the office. I conveyed the same with my parents on my decision to quit and prepare for CAT, they voiced their opinion to weigh both the pros and cons and the timeline for preparation. They helped me put in the maximum effort with whatever required and the challenge was to not let them down at the same time make sure I utilize the time optimally. The Challenge was to prepare better as I had quit my job and there was no way around but to just crack CAT and get into a B - school. I could not live up to the expectations of my parents as my CAT score wasn't enough to break through but NMIMS did give them relief. I'd say battles lost are those where there isn't any fight and I will not consider myself to have failed. The support you receive after the failure is much more important than the one you get in the process. I owe them for all the sacrifices and hard work they put in but I must have made them proud by being a student of NMIMS.
