When I come’ through the name of Aditya Birla Group, the first things that come in my mind is Idea- An idea can change your life. I am using Idea cellular network for the last 10 years. It has become my inseparable part of my life, connecting with my family, my friends, all my professional connections and connecting with the world. Idea cellular always motivates me to be creative and find a unique and simple solution to a complex problem. The tagline-“An Idea can change your life” insists me to find a simple way of tackling big problems. I am greatly Inspired by an advertisement, where four friends from different states go for other states having a different language than there native state language, they helped each other on phone call how to communicate with local peoples. The idea helped them to overcome the language barrier. I also visited five countries this year and the internet helped me to overcome the language barrier in communication with different people during the visit. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. Since starting group has diverged itself in many sectors like textile, telecom, chemicals, fertilizers, cement. Aditya Birla group has contributed a lot to the Indian economy by developing Indian brands and manufacturing industries. It feels proud to see Indian brands in competition with foreign brands. When it comes to naming the Indian legacy of industry, one of the names come is Aditya Birla group.
My Story -
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” - Helen Keller. I was working with Pen manufacturing company. We have started a new plant for painting and we were in development stages for jig and fixtures for different product requirements. During this development period, there was an order for a product for which we were not having proper jigs and facilities for production and developing new jig would have taken too much time to fulfill the order on time. Then I was discussing with my team that we need to fulfill customer requirements. We had a brainstorming session and all team members were coming with great ideas, I was surprised the way team was exploring new ways to achieve the production targets. The team came with a new design of jigs that we can easily arrange with a simple add-on in existing jigs and we were able to produce with existing jigs. We did trials with our ideas and checked for product quality for standard requirements. Our product quality requirements were satisfied, and then we did full production and achieve the target on time. Our top management was so happy with our working that our team got excellence teamwork award. We were more than happy that we fulfilled our customer requirements. We celebrate this achievement by having a party together. So I could say – An Idea can help you achieve your goal overcoming all constraint on the way. This achievement always reminds me of all my team members who worked together.
