Achieving ambitions while overcoming challenges, IIM Ranchi
“There is no challenge more challenging than the challenge to improve yourself.”
The journey began in my final year of graduation when I decided to write the management entrance examinations. Having an inclination towards commerce and the practical aspects of running a business I was determined to get an education in management. However, I could not live up to my expectations that year and decided to looking at other alternatives. After a lot of introspection, I decided to clear my head and be extremely sure about the path I intended to take.
During this course of time I learned the importance of resilience. I became pro-active in my approach which helped me seize the opportunity of working with a leading Big-4 Consulting Firm as an Analyst in the domain of Risk Consulting. Getting the exposure of working in a corporate definitely changed my perspective and allowed me to grow but at the same time gave me the clarity about the domain I wanted pursue.
Managing work and the exam preparation efficiently was a challenge I had to overcome. Focus, diligence and willingness to learn were the key drivers for achieving my goal and overcoming the obstacles. Self-reflection and motivation played a crucial role in my journey, to be able to understand my own abilities and overcoming my flaws. Also, nothing supersedes the learnings attained through circumstances and experiences. Through this journey I started believing that no dream is too big and no challenge is too great if we have the fire in our belly to achieve it.

I am a highly enthusiastic person and always ready for new challenges. For me, agility is the prime concern. Having a technical background in the field of mechanical engineering from NIT Agartala, I worked for Tata Motors for 46 months. There I was involved in the area of Operation and planning and this was the remarkable experience for me. Currently, I am pursuing MBA in HR from IIM Ranchi. My area of interest is not limited actually it's a little bit wider I have an interest in consulting, Analytics, Performance management, Industrial relation and more on the list. Traveling is the thing which is inseparable to me. This is my super hobby. Interacting with the new person and making networking, I do like.so, in short, I am an Icebreaker.
Amazing work Shubhi
