“Every challenge, every adversity, contains within it the seeds of opportunity and growth.” These are the words of Roy Bennett. This has been true in my life as well, as I got to show by skills in a challenging time in my life.

In 2013, I started my transition towards the next big thing in my life ENGINEERING.I had always been an above average student my entire study life, and thus I had pressure upon myself to excel in engineering and make my parents proud. In my first year that is 2 semesters, I was playing catch up to my fellow peers, having not performed to the best of my potential. Thus, I had a hard time in this transition. But it was a blessing in disguise, as I had never experienced such a situation in my life before, and from here on I never took a laid-back attitude or slackened my efforts. There after I put in all my efforts and I used to sit in the library even after my classes got over and would go home only after completing my entire days study. Thus, through my dedication and continuous hard work I had a gradual rise in my GPA up till the final semester in 2017.

I would like to conclude by quoting the 6-step mantra which I follow on “How to win in life” by Germany Kent

1 Work hard

2 Complain less

3 Listen more

4 Try, Learn, Grow

5 Don't let people tell you it can’t be done

6 Make no excuses
