The paragon of how a company can become an integral part of individuals’ life no matter even if they realise it or as a reflex. When I visited Mumbai, I was enthralled by Bandra-Worli sea link, its impregnable and robust structure was possible due to Ultratech cement only, I was so fascinated that we only used Ultratech for construction of our house 4 years back.
I still remember the day of my undergrads when I was to buy my first formal shirt for the presentations and without any second thought, I went straight into the Louis Philippe store and bought a premium shirt which I still own, this is the kind of market value ABG has-‘Best in Class’. And the bond is still alive as I can sense the feeling of belonging with the brand. The similarity in aspirations play a pivotal role as great styling is sacrosanct for building confidence and improving overall personality. ABG has so many brands that I don’t need to look otherwise for any of my style requirement.
Idea was a prime player in transforming the telecom sector in India and making it multiply many folds from just 10 million subscribers in 2004 to more than 1.1 billion subscribers in 2019 and with recent Vodafone Idea limited, it is the largest telecom operator in India now. For the last 9 years I have been using the Idea services and I have so many cherished memories associated with it, be it long chats with the special one or looking for the exam results from the idea network. ABG has always believed in breaking shackles and stereotypes, the recent campaign from Idea of #MeriRealLife is a prominent example, to promote the real oneself and to break the taboo of filters to showcase something which is superficial.

Failure can be a catalyst to success!

Lack of efforts, lack of proper planning, wrong technique are some of the reasons for failure but destiny and nature have their own plans too. Sometimes our failure may not be due to our lack of efforts, but circumstances and surroundings become such that we are not able to achieve what we seek for.
I faced some tough times too. This was the final semester, my marks till then were not decent enough, I was not placed in any company, for most of the companies I was rejected in the last rounds. My dream of getting into a good b-school was fainting as I screwed my CAT too. At one point of time, I gave up all the hope, I was feeling inferior, that was crucial time as I was about to be graduated from my engineering college and without any path further to follow. Then I realised may be the family conditions and problems I was facing at that time may not be similar with all my friends. I decided that I will start afresh, I analysed my strengths, worked on them and managed my weaknesses for the time being. And the last company for the placement came, I was the first one to go for the interview and surprise- I was selected.
But I had that desire of getting into a good b-school, so I started working in the company, gained the basic knowledge of how things work in the corporate as it would be useful in my b-school, I gave CAT again after a decent work experience and converted a good b-school and here I am today, a proud student of IMI, New Delhi.
