CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE
Challenges are part and parcel of life, the bitterest of the situations and most valuable of the lessons of one’s life. My father is a self-made business man, a one man show for his organization, he always reminds me that life is sometimes a friend and many a times at odds with you, what it brings forth is to be accepted happily instead of making a sad gesture to it. Similar is my philosophy – of sheer hard work and determination – sometimes you succeed many a times you fail but it carries on. I had my fair share of challenges and situations where I found myself increasingly outpaced by the level of competence but the determination to strive through it is what today gives me courage to sail ahead accepting each new challenge. In 2012 shockingly, my grandfather expired, and my annual exams were just a week ahead of me. Managing oneself at those moments of grief and taking the exams by the head are all attributed to my self – belief. My first attempt at Common Aptitude test 2017 was a sheer disaster. My percentile ranged around 78%, a score which was nothing to be accepted to B school of my desire. But instead of being bogged down I decided to give it another shot, an uphill task considering the digestion of reality of adverse score and the simultaneous toil of correcting and identifying my past mistakes. The efforts bore fruits and I was in the top 10% of the students who took the test in 2018. Many such incidences work as a piece in the puzzle which not only gives one impetus to venture for new dimensions in life but also the courage to sustain and succeed in those.
