In my previous post on cracking Reading Comprehension of VA-RC section, I had mentioned that all three sections of CAT check your application of logic. From VA-RC to QA, every single question requires you to carefully deliberate on what is being asked in the question and what approach it requires.
How does H&M manage to sell jackets during summers? What does the life of a brand manager at a young e-commerce company like Nykaa entail? What are the struggles of being a management trainee in a top MNC like Vodafone?
Most of the students who go for an MBA do not have any specialization in mind when they decide to do so. The idea is to figure it out in the 1st year of the course. But as it turns out, 1st year is too short a time to decide which path to take. For the lucky few who are able to figure that out, this piece of writing is not for them. This is for those wanderers who are yet to explore the nitty-gritty of specialization and are yet to set their targets straight.
So, Congratulations to all of you who have cleared one or the other institute’s written test. Most of you might have already been done with most or all of the GDs, WATs, and Interviews. Final results of some of the colleges are also out. Some of you might have got through some might have been waitlisted and are sure of clearing the waitlist. Some of you might not have got through even on the waitlist but are quite sure of converting some other call. Some might have cleared one college but are expecting a convert from some better college. So, this article is for all those who have either cleared or are sure of clearing at least one college of their choice and are enthusiastic about joining the MBA course this year i.e. 2018.

If you hear about someone who has an MBA, your brain automatically pictures heaps of money, Friday nights at pubs, 3-piece suits and tuxedos, and all other fancy things that you can think of. Everyone has their own reasons for doing an MBA, which can ultimately be traced back to one single point.
It is that time of the year when convocation pictures start flooding social media especially of b-schools in India and it reminds me of my graduation from IIM Lucknow. It also brings with it a train of thoughts - all that I achieved during those two years and what more I could have achieved.
