The Real Stars!

I’m trying to search for a good beginning. But honestly I’m at a loss of words. The literary scholars say that a catchy start can win you the appreciation for your piece, so I guess I’ve lost out on that. It so happens sometimes when something is very close to your heart you fail to express it. The perfect argument to this maybe “then why are you writing at all ?” ( I got a start..now we’re talking!!). I think this is a great platform to share my 33 months of work experience at the Paralympic Committee of India. ”But why would anyone be interested in YOUR experience? Isn’t that a little, rather very pompous of you? ”My defense : No no..Just hear (sorry read) me out.

Why MBA - Dare to Think Beyond Grades

9.00 AM - The piercing blare of my phone’s alarm brings me back from the thirteenth dimension of deep sleep as my non-REM cycle aborts and I awake with a splitting headache, with the choicest of cuss words for my phone, my timetable, my life in general. But a good seven snoozes later I’m back to my best behaviour. Picking the least smelly pair of jeans from the laundry bag, I jog to my 9.30 class.

My Stint of Financial Inclusion at Trichy

The farewell to the seniors last week reminded me of our fresher’s party eight month before. It was hard to realize how quickly the time passed by. Within one month, and the first year was about to complete. The involvement in the daily academic works and co-curricular activities made the time to fly unnoticeable. Quizzes, assignments and projects became the part of my daily life. Late night discussions and few hours of sleep now had become a common phenomenon.

2 States and Chetan Bhagat, are the bane of every MBA aspirant, especially the IIM ones. The story gave us hope, of surreal and love, minimal studies and lots of dances. You enter the campus thinking your life will change with a serving of sambhar but behold, the last feelings you will have after entering the mess are love and appreciation. You believe you will never have to attend classes, roaming in the corridors with books in hand are enough... my poor friends, you will grow old in the classes, the clock won't move its hands and some of you will feel your cells dying. And you might feel that in spite of so many dances, romances and dramas, you will get placements in a jiffy... you all must have gotten the drift by now... except a lucky few, placements will test your patience, endurance and faith in god.
