Hard work is the key to success

Hard work is the key to success

Challenges are experiences and all those experiences have been my inspirations to stand firm and make a good change. Instead of taking them pessimistically, I have rather served them as valuable things to prosper and develop my incompetent part. Challenges are not all times bane. They are intended to make us inspired and go on with everything. It is true that they hurt us and hinder our plans, but it is up to us if we will let ourselves get affected. I myself had gone through many challenges to become what I am today. One of my main challenge after graduation was to get admission in a good MBA college. After I gave the entrance exam to get admission, I secured less marks and I could not get admission in my dream college. I did not lose hope and took admission in another college, but the thought of going to the best MBA college was always there with me in my subconscious mind and with that I again started to study hard for the entrance exam. This time it was more difficult because I had to juggle between my college studies and the entrance exam study. I had decided in my mind that this time I will get good marks and will get admission in my dream college. Both the college semester results and the entrance exam results came and to my surprise I got good grades in my semester and I got good marks in the entrance exam and thus got admission in my dream college. The faith in myself and to overcome the challenge is what kept me going through that phase.

When Aditya Birla Group was cementing its leadership across various sectors, I was studying intermediate and we never had any other recreation (from the stressful entrance exam preparations) than discussing about the happening things, movies, fashion and etc., During those discussions, few of my friends use to pull my leg saying that I already own a company and it runs under my name. Yes, they were talking about  Birla Group. Though I am not from the Birla’s, I still used to feel proud and motivated to establish one such company in the future. The impact of the brand did not stop there, it is still with me and will be forever.

Contributions by the Aditya Birla Group in my life

Aditya Birla Group is India's first multinational corporation. Aditya Birla Group is the third-largest Indian private sector conglomerate. The Group has presence in 34 countries - India, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines for example. The group has diversified business interests and is dominant player in all the sectors in which it operates such as viscose staple fibre, metals, cement, viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. It became world's largest producer of viscose staple fibre, the largest refiner of palm oil, India's largest producer of insulators and the largest producer of carbon black. The Aditya Birla Group also goes beyond conventional barriers of business by caring about the community and believing that it their duty. Their work in the community focuses on health-care, education, the girl child, sustainable livelihood, women empowerment projects, infrastructure and espousing social reform. Aditya Birla fashion and retail is into selling branded apparels including the famous brands such as Louis Phillippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England via brick and mortar stores. It has also acquired the brand Pantaloons from Future Group. In the telecom sector, Idea cellular was started as a joint venture with AT&T and TATA Group. It has now merged with Vodafone forming Vodafone-Idea. Aditya Birla Group was present in one form or the other in my life. It was there with me through the clothes I wore or the as the mobile network which I used in my cellphone or by providing many people with the building material cement for building their dream home. The Group has made a huge impact on everyone's life.

Aditya Birla group founded in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayan started its operations as a cotton trading and now expanded its operations to nearly every sector ranging from viscose staple fibre to metals cements, chemicals, fertilisers, telecom etc. It employees nearly 120,000 people in 35 countries. It has changed the lives of people by providing quality products, better services and by enriching customer experience. I myself have witnessed the top-quality products and services provided by the Aditya Birla group. For more than two years I had used its Idea sim and I was more than satisfied  with its services. I had never faced any network issues and its call rate is one of the lowest in the country. Anytime if I faced any problem, its customer care service is always ready to help me. I found its advertisement quite amazing where different people try to fool the customers but the customers verify the things by searching on internet and said ‘no ullu banawing’. From no idea to get idea is the message they have given which I find quite innovative. 3 years ago, my new home was built and guess what which cement we used in building the house, it was UltraTech cement without any doubt and it proves its worth. There is no single crack in the house even after 3 years. My favourite fashion brand is louis Phillipe which is again owned by ABG. It gives premium quality clothing at reasonable prices. ABG has expanded its business rapidly after the independence and set its foot in different sectors while retaining its habit of enhancing the customer experience at every level possible. It is only one of the few conglomerates in India which has changed the people lives in various ways.
