What happens when an exam-conducting body asks the stakeholders about their existing pattern and what can be done better? Well, a new version of it takes birth that solves the rapidly changing business problems in the real world.
You must already be knowing this: Your MBA Application Essays play a more important role than your GMAT or GRE score. We have seen folks with scores as high as 780 on the GMAT getting rejected by the top B-Schools because of their essays, and applicants with scores less than 630 on the GMAT making the cut.
In this episode of “A Day In The Life Of… “ we went to IMT Ghaziabad to explore their campus and what goes on daily in the life of a student at IMT Ghaziabad. We met with Sharath Chandra and Padmabati Roy Choudhary, second year students at IMT Ghaziabad, who took us around their campus talking about what goes on in the campus, and how the students go about their day. With Sharath, we explored their hostels that in his own words, “is more or less equipped to deal with everyone on each floor.” That aside, IMT Ghaziabad’s hostels boast of all basic amenities that ensure a hassle-free learning and residing experience. From the hostels, Sharath then took us to the academic block where the classes happen. He also shed light on the admissions process and the various entry points through which students find themselves studying at IMT Ghaziabad.
GMAT or GRE or CAT? This probably is a question that a lot of aspirants ask themselves while they start preparing. But each of these exams is different in nature and requires different skills to master. We tried to understand the process that GMAT and GRE toppers followed with scores of more than 750 and 320 respectively. We tried to understand what were some of the resources they referred to for their preparation, what were some roadblocks and how did they overcome challenges. They also talk about their choice to go for an Indian institute BITSoM for their program after clearing the GMAT and GRE and why it made sense to them.
