At the age of 5, Reema Raykar was diagnosed with arthritis. With immense pain and constant clinical observation, she spent most of her life taking medical support. Often dejected by her fate, Reema found strength in her parents and determined to go ahead in life, no matter what! Beating all odds, Reema fulfilled her dream of getting into a B-School and pursue the career she wanted for herself.
One of the annual activities at IIM Indore is their Rural Immersion Program. In the winter months, the students travel to rural villages and spend time researching and finding solutions to problems faced by the villagers. This year their mission revolved around Swachh Bharat's open defecation campaign and they were asked to give their recommendations directly to the Gram Panchayat.

Tejas Kumar, with his friends, built his startup HeDCET Technologies from scratch during his engineering days. Taking baby steps, he went on developing his own company which ultimately got acquired before he joined SIBM Pune for his MBA degree.
We met Chitra on a rainy day at IIM Indore. Her journey from studying in a single classroom in Jammu, to rejecting top schools of DU because of logistical problems and her current life at IIM-I is truly inspiring. Her love for animals and someday pioneering change in the Indian healthcare sector is what keeps her motivated along with the people in her life who believe in her.
