17 countries, 38 cities and 4 different time zones, travelling across the lengths and breadths of Europe has given me hands on experience in planning and travelling solo. Now I know more about this continent and its rich culture. My name is Lipsa Sahu and I am currently in my second year of MBA, Human Resource Management, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. I have successfully completed one term with IESEG university, Lille France.

Union finance minister Arun Jaitley’s budget for the year 2017-18 has evoked diverse reactions from politicians, industry leaders, experts, academia and social media. Good for some, not so good for others but one sector which has not seen much is the Higher Education Sector. Did the Government miss out on Higher Education especially beyond the government colleges?
The year that was I remember eagerly looking forward to and waiting for 2016 to begin. The year of mammoth changes it was going to be. Some invited, others uninvited, 2016 brought in too many changes anyway. Little did I know that life would be changing gears at a very trippy pace. And that no amount of preparedness was going to help. Got suited up to get to a new place. With open arms, got sucked into this rat race. Filled with hollow-eyed humans chasing deadlines, I still found a teacher in some friends And a friend in some teachers.
Mumbai: The evening of January 22nd saw the culmination of one of India’s biggest B-School Sports Festivals, SPRINT. An annual fixture on SPJIMR’s calendar, SPRINT has become one of those anticipated events on the circuit with widespread participation from across the nation. So what does it take to organise a fest of this magnitude spread over 72 gruelling hours? Let’s find out.
