Not that we would wait for Woman's Day to celebrate the spirit and power of women on our management campuses, still we thought its good time to present some stories of women who have done it all.
I visited Toyota service station to get my Corolla serviced. This is what I observed:

I for one, totally buy Microsoft’s positioning as the productivity and platform company for the mobile-first and cloud first world. I think it’s an excellent business opportunity, and although the prospect of selling to corporate executives in dull suits may not inspire a fanatic fan-following among the masses, it is the right thing to do - the addressable market, especially in cloud computing, and for Microsoft as a one-stop solution for all corporate IT needs, is quite large, and the company is just getting started.
Google may have dethroned Apple as the most valuable company by dint of its financial reporting discipline, but I’d say they should keep the champagne on ice. Industry shifts like transition from web to mobile computing are always fraught with risk I think the jury is still out on whether Google is the company that holds all the aces for the era of mobile computing. Android may have been a defensive masterstroke by Google, but having a safeguard against irrelevance is quite different from having a weapon of dominance.
Of the five American technology giants that are now spoken about in the same breath ( Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft), I believe that it is Facebook that has the brightest future. A rigorous defence of this claim would require a proper assessment of the strengths, weaknesses and addressable market opportunities in front of all five companies, and I will do that in subsequent posts. For now, I find it really funny that most people view Facebook as nothing more than a passing fad or a silly pastime, unworthy of being spoken in the same breath as Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Apple. Here’s why I think they are all wrong.
