All B-school students have a unique internship experience. They have different projects, locations, stipends and aspirations, but there is a common trend amongst all of us. We start noticing our company everywhere around us right after the SIP process and if we land up in an FMCG, people start asking for free gifts from our company. I can bet that HUL interns would have got a request for Dove and Mondelez folks were supposed to get lot of chocolates while coming back to the campus. I was asked to get a truck loaded of Chocos.

Summer is Coming - Internship at P&G
Summer couldn’t come soon enough for me. I spent the whole of march stocking up ammunition for the coming war – fast tracking my MS excel lessons, reading journals & papers related to Supply Chain Management, making a planner and task scheduler, stocking up on formal office attire and tuning my body clock for the 9-5 cycle! I was excited, nervous & apprehensive.

Last June, I was started college after having worked for almost 4 years in the space of consulting & I had mixed feelings about it. But right from the day I started my MBA, I was excited about interning during the summer. I was opting for marketing (a shift in my career from HR) & this would be my first brush with the wide world of marketing.
