What happens when you get up one morning and decide you want to crack CAT? Be part of all the cool B-schools, draw heavy paychecks at the end of the month and live in a posh sea facing Marine Drive flat! Well, all that can come true, but only when you realize the hardwork and dedication that it needs at the very early stage- when you are deciding to go that route. Keshav Singh, a final year student, just like thousands other every year, thought let’s give CAT a try. Nahi hoga toh agle saal dekh lenge! With very little preparation and no guided pathway to take, Keshav did fail to convert CAT 2020. We asked Keshav to tell his story around his preparation, what worked, what did not and what are some things that aspirants like him should avoid before CAT 2021.

Aanchal graduated from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies with a degree in Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - specialization in Finance. She has 2 years of work experience in Deal Advisory division with KPMG India. In this article, she lays out the detailed preparation strategy that helped her achieve 99.77%ile in CAT 2020 and subsequently helped her crack the Holy Trinity as a fresher.
