The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a gateway to India’s premier management institutes, and as the exam date approaches, the pressure can feel immense. However, with the right mindset and strategies, you can maximize your potential during the last month of preparation. Here are actionable insights and strategies to help you make the most of the final days before CAT 2024.
Hi everyone! I’m Ayush Gagneja, an MBA student in my first year at NMIMS Mumbai. A 97.23 percentile scorer in CAT with 99.21 in Quants. With CAT 2024 just around the corner, I can completely relate to the whirlwind of emotions you might be feeling—anxiety, panic, nervousness, and maybe even a pinch of self-doubt. Just last year, I was exactly where you are now, grappling with the same uncertainties about how to make the most of this crucial last week. Today, I want to share some last-minute tips and strategies that helped me sail through this phase and can surely help you approach your exam with confidence and clarity.
"Dost ab aagye hai hum akhri padaw parr......." Just a couple of days left for CAT 2024. You’re likely feeling excitement, terror, and a sudden urge to binge-watch that series you’ve been putting off for months, which is normal (I binged Mirzapur S1 days before CAT 2023). Trust me; you’ll be fine (even if you don't feel it right now, eventually, you will realize the same). The key lies in smart planning and keeping your cool. Let’s dive into a recap of some lessons I would've wanted to be told during my last days of CAT 2023, which might help you crush CAT like the legend you are.

Something which people might not tell you but in my opinion it is most important, that is not having too much involvement with fellow CAT aspirants and social media to keep negativity at bay.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) can feel like a mountain to climb, but with the right strategies, it’s just another challenge you can conquer. With only a few days to go, the key is not to cram but to fine-tune your preparation and stay mentally sharp. Here’s a last-minute guide to help you put your best foot forward:
As the clock ticked closer to CAT day, I remember sitting with my books, drowning in the weight of expectation. Not just my own, but what a society hangs on to when they hear the word "IIM." Exam day arrived, and as I left the exam hall, I was hoping for a miracle. But when the answer key came, I was just blank after calculating marks - 42 percentile :(
With the CAT 2024 exam just a few hours away, it's crucial to optimize your preparation and maintain a calm mindset. Here are some last-minute tips to help you perform at your best:
