A question that possibly comes to every B-school student’s mind is ‘How much money would I make once I complete an MBA from a B-school’? And with that comes the feeling of how much your peers are making. A rat race that never ceases to end!
Before appearing for an interview to convert the call from any IIM, one question that the candidates must be clear about is, “Why does he/she want to join that IIM?” Focusing on this question, this article covers the response to the question – “Why IIM Indore?”
First of all, let me congratulate you on getting an interview call from one of the country’s best business school, IIM Calcutta. You have worked hard to get to this point, but the real battle is yet to come. You will now compete with the best minds of the country - graduates out of IITs/NITs/ St. Stephen's/ SRCC or maybe having experience of working at the top-notch firms. So, you should be aptly prepared for the end-game. :)

Amandeep Singh Kochar did his engineering with hopes of becoming a hacker, but soon realized that it wasn’t his cup of tea. When he entered his b-school, IFMR Chennai, he fell in love with the way MBA is taught. Unlike engineering, MBA included a lot of peer learning and open book exams. Calling MBA a reflection of the real world, he explains how working together with his peers to find solutions led him to decide that he wanted to continue working in the same fashion throughout his career.
As well described by the residents of Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, Kebabs and Tehzeeb, has a lot more to offer than it may seem.
