The Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM) Final Placements report for the Class of 2019 has been released! A total of 112 students participated in the final placements process at XSRM this year.
‘Nothing is impossible with dedication and hard work’ and Aditya Singh is a live representation of this phrase. Aditya is a graduate in Mining engineering from India School of Mines, Dhanbad. Working with a Navratna company in India, he successfully cracked CFA Level 1 in his first attempt. In an interview with Soumi Basu, Aditya shared his experience while preparing for the exam and what led him towards the decision of attempting CFA.

In today’s scenario, the term “Indian IT Male” has turned out to be a category in itself. The Indian IT sector is a leader when it comes to technology and business services and is also the biggest employer for Indian technology professionals. Indian IT professionals work with the world’s leading organizations not only to support their business and technology processes but also help them in fulfiling their business goals.

You will find myths abound regarding entrepreneurship. Our priority list always consists of much the same factors – placements, faculty, location, campus, fees etc. However, it often gets confusing as many of the average packages in LPAs these days seem strikingly close to each other and the views we get from the insiders studying in these B-Schools about campus and faculties often seem too good to be true. I had much of the same issues while I was looking for my perfect management school to enrol in. And I write here in an attempt to make this selection easier for you, by telling you that there is probably one more factor that can help you shortlist schools of your choice and that is sheer numbers. Yes, I mean the number of students you would be studying with – it does matter.
