I was in the same city as hers for two years, yet never planned to see her. She’s quite famous among my friends; they speak highly of her. I secretly admired her, stalked her online, liked her pictures on FB and followed her updates. The craze she had, I knew it was a farfetched dream to be with her. Still, somewhere deep down, I wanted to take a chance.
My journey as a professional started with my First Internship as an Intern with Edelweiss, One of India’s Leading Financial Groups. With no experience in hand, I was nervous and asking myself – How does all this Work? What would be my Mentors’ expectations? After all, Edelweiss is such a large company. The two months went by so soon with many ups and a few downs! I was a Sales Intern and it was Hardcore Sales! I learnt a lot about myself, things I am good at like talking with clients, pitching products, learning different ways of sales and most importantly – How to close the Deal!
