Given that placements start as early as first week of August on many campuses, the academic scores of the first term of the 2 year MBA has also been rendered almost irrelevant. In such a scenario, targeted preparation for summer internship placements has become a priority.
In 2014, I was in the final year of my engineering. I had got a campus placement in one of the coveted companies, my engineering college was the top private college in the state of Andhra Pradesh (Now Telangana), and I was just 21, the future looked bright, and for the first time in my life I stepped out of my home and went to Mumbai the land of dreams.
What is that one thing that captures the entire mind space of each and every first year MBA student at this time of the year?
