Shailley Garg has a rich legacy of working at the manufacturing sector for over two decades. A Metalurgy engineer, Shailley took up engineering at a time when not many women were part of the classrooms. She later on took up a manufacturing role where not many women were working either. But, all of this did not let her down. With rigour, perseverance and constant urge to upskill Shailley thrived against all odds. The 2022 IIM Bangalore placements report is now out! In 2022, IIM Bangalore has recorded a median salary of INR 31.20 lakhs, and an average salary of INR 33.82 lakhs. This year, 42 percent of the batch opted for roles in the Management Consulting domain, followed by IT/Product Management. Accenture was the top recruiter on campus, offering 49 roles to the graduating batch of 2022. The batch also received 6 international offers.
