He shares how he was a mediocre student and did not pay much attention to his studies till he felt he needed newer skills to be relevant as a professional. An engineer from the Jaypee Institute of Technology, Noida, Vaibhav also pursued an MBA along with his B.Tech as a 5 year course. Finally, after a few years as a working professional employed at a KPO, Vaibhav decided to get serious about his education and upskill himself. He then decided to take up and cleared CFA Level 2. He got into IIM Indore and that’s where his life took a different turn. As a middle office executive at Deutsche Bank, Vaibhav then got a chance to work at their Sydney office. He eventually came back to India as a front office executive. Having closed around 15 deals in his 2 years at Deutsche Bank in India, Vaibhav decided to move his focus to private equity and joined Edelweiss. Ultimately, Vaibhav decided to join Wealthdesk, a startup that caters to retail investors in India.
