NITIE Mumbai Past Year's Interview Experience 2021, Dhruvin Desai
After being through a plethora of B-School interviews, the fretting before the interview gradually starts to fade away. It's like just another day, only with an interview in it. But that hot April day was different. It was my last interview of the season, but the feeling of nervousness felt as though it was my first one. And it was justified too. After all, it was supposed to decide whether I'll get to go to a place I wanted to the most. Being a mechanical engineer, the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was never unknown to me. Upon extensive research, I decided that the MBA equivalent, Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) at NITIE, was the course for me. I had 20 months of work experience at an Indian IT giant during that time, with my academic profile being 93/86/68. Clearly, with not one of the best profiles, I started getting ready for the moments that could decide the fate of my career ahead. Putting on trousers instead of shorts for a change and a crisp pink shirt to go with them, I sat down at my table for the NITIE online personal interview. Here's what followed –
