I have noticed people in newer/ less-known colleges (and sometimes, surprisingly, from older, well-known colleges) use different rankings to drive home 'superiority' of their own colleges.

Today, we bring you a story of a leader, a student body president at ISB, who not only went out of the way to provide temporary accommodation to ISB students during the lockdown but also raised his voice when there were few issues in the placement process. His determination and ownership in taking up difficult tasks placed him amongst India’s 50 Most Employable Graduates of the Class of 2020!
Continuing her talk with us, Riya Chhabra tells us about her b school experience at INSEAD. She talks of how she felt like she didn’t belong, and the apprehensions she initially had about connecting with people from around the world. She soon realised she wasn’t the only one who felt that. Competition exists everywhere, and when you’re in one of the world’s top b schools, that competition is bound to intensify.
Summer internships are invaluable for MBA students. The two-month-long stint as an intern teaches one a lot about the corporate nuances in an organized manner. The selection process tests candidates on multiple facets including one’s confidence, knowledge acumen and leadership abilities etc.

An alumna of SCMHRD, Dr.Shubhra began her journey as a Physician Doctor and went on to become the National Winner of coveted competitions like Reliance- The Ultimate Pitch, “Entrepreneur of the Year” by IIM Ahmedabad, Red Bricks by IIM Ahmedabad and many more. We talked to her about her journey and this is what she has to say!
It is still hard for me to believe that I just completed my summer internship with Ninjacart as a Satara City Manager. It was one of the very few internships from SBM, NMIMS that gave their interns an opportunity to learn and work ‘on the field’ during such unprecedented times. This was indeed a very special project for me as I started operations in this city right from scratch under the guidance of my mentor Kunal Bhatia. I still remember, when I was assigned to this city project by Abhinaya, Kunal and I had our first conversation on the night of 17 May with an immediate action plan that included looking for a Micro Distribution Center (MDC), hiring Sales Executives, Operation Executives, Drivers and Labor to get our operations started as quickly as possible. Having no idea from where to start, the hustle began and never stopped until the last minute.
Swati Panjwani is a Chartered Accountant with AIR 6 in CPT and AIR 45 in IPCC. She cleared all three levels of CA in the first attempt. She has cleared CFA level 1 and 2. Currently, she is pursuing an MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and she interned with JPMC - Corporate and Investment Bank - Strategy role. We talked to her why she decided to do an MBA after having done 2 professional courses already and this is what she has to say!
