The Transition Phase Of A Management Student To A Manager
The buzz of the alarm starts to muddle with my sleep. I languidly stretched my hand to grab my phone. Is it 8:20! I clearly remember the clock showing me 7:00 AM just 5 minutes back. Time dilation while sleeping is something even NASA may find tough to figure out. But what do I do now?

Interesting Batchmates At IIM Indore
Life at IIM Indore is good till you discover that it's all about the people here. They are MBA aspirants planning to run companies. But look at them closely just to discover little kids burdened with hell lot of responsibilities. Yes, I'm talking about more than 23 years kids who never grew up to forget the child inside them. I'm an engineer, and the only lifestyle I knew can exist in college is ‘jugaad’. Although I wasn't very shocked when people were found to be serious about management studies in IIM campus. They read every day to class and participate in discussions wholeheartedly. Exams are serious events in their lives but you wouldn't have bothered about your scores so much hadn't been your mom shouting at you for not bringing 90% as a kid. But if you are thinking its a bit too much for a student at this age, hold on till I introduce you to a student who can stay awake all the 5 consecutive exam days so that he doesn't miss out on a single word on paper. If he sleeps, he is cutting down on study time!

MBA Life Hacks
Reaching towards the end of 2 months of the 2nd year of my MBA journey from IIM Shillong, I can feel the transformation in my overall personality and thought process when contrasted with the pre-MBA previous version of myself. After surviving the roller coaster ride of the first year of MBA, now in the second year with a slighter relaxed schedule, it feels a bit nostalgic while seeing the sleep-deprived juniors hovering around here and there to get their tasks done within the stipulated deadline. Whether it may be reaching classes on time, or attending podium sessions, or completing midnight assignments, or preparing for the next day’s pre-reads or quizzes, the unending rundown continues forever. While going through a series of unavoidable activities day in and day out in such a limited time schedule, one is ought to get into a state of bewilderment.
