How many of us reading this post right now are from the era where promotion of almost all activities including pre-movie releases, advertising and campaigning for the impending elections were all done using insensitively blaring loudspeakers attached to an auto-rickshaw that used to move around the city/town at the most annoying hours of the day? Or, when individual party members used to visit each and every household in the vicinity, enlightening the apparently ‘ignorant’ masses about their clean, bright party members contesting from that area. Well, most of us may just have heard of such happenings, never experienced them, thanks to the speed at which Marketing methods and its channels are evolving, over time.
Mahatma Gandhi once remarked, 'Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.' Same is the case with a country. A nation becomes great when the government works for the interest and benefit of its citizens. Social infrastructure is in a dire need of attention in India and the success of the government in providing for it will determine India's growth in the coming years.

When you are preparing for the MBA interviews the question that you spend the most time on is definitely “Why MBA?” and everyone comes up with his/her version of the politically correct answer but all of them are on similar lines – knowledge, networking, career opportunities, brand etc. But when you finally make it to one of the top B-schools of the country, you realise that you were not alone in not knowing a thing about the fancy terms you said in the interview. People may have their own reasons for doing MBA but everyone one truly deserve it because an important thing in MBA is to throw a lot of fancy terms and jargons so that you sound learned. I will try and list the politically incorrect but real reasons which people can’t give in their interviews.
