I feel major tools for tackling challenges to achieve ambitions are confidence and desire to do things. When I was a kid I was strong at both of the qualities mentioned above. I regularly achieved things which I dreamt of, be it becoming a school captain to leading school football team. As I grew up another quality that helped me achieve my ambitions was risk-taking ability. After my first attempt in engineering competitive exams, I was not getting college and branch of my choice. I was in a dilemma whether to settle up for the college which I get or take one more attempt by taking a year drop which was a risky one. I went for the riskier option and it was indeed fruitful and I ended up with a NIT and indeed it proved higher the risk higher the returns. the Next tool which helped me overcoming challenges is patience. Engineering placements had begun and my friends were getting placed each day. I was rejected from 12 company interviews and I started feeling a bit depressed, although I was always confident of my skills and hence even after rejections I was sitting for next company interviews I knew I had to be patient as in Hindi they say “sabra ka fal meetha hota hai” and it proved true when I was selected in Airtel’s young technical leader’s program which was one of the best roles offered on our campus also I was selected as campus brand ambassador by Airtel as my performance was best among all selected ones. Hence I feel confidence, desire to do things, risk-taking ability and patience are some keys to overcoming challenges.
