Situated in the East Khasi Hills of Shillong, the institute often faces the problem of a great deal of misinformation being spread about it perhaps due to its off-centre location. However, IIM Shillong, now hosting its 11th batch of PGP students, has excelled on various parameters such as diversity and inclusivity to be able to successfully bust any myths. When one thinks of FMS, the first thing that strikes their mind is the exceptionally low fees and the tremendous Return on Investment (ROI) that one can get when they enter this college. But FMS is way more than this. This can be justified from the top rankings from portals like Outlook, QS, TIME, MBAUniverse, etc. that FMS has received over the years.

On the 3rd of October, 2018, the students of Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur had the privilege of hosting Mr. RS Rajan, Co-Founder & Director at Livpure Private Ltd. for a Guest Lecture on “Contemporary Leadership”. A visionary with a passion of leaving behind a safer environment for the next generations, Mr. Rajan has focused on delivering superior water purification systems for home and commercial use across India. Mr. Rajan has been honoured with the Water-Hall-of-Fame award for his exemplary contribution to the industry in a career spanning over three decades.
