Using experience in IMT Ghaziabad

When I first joined as software develooer for a reputed organisation, I faced a tough work environment. As I was new on my team and had no existing relationships, i was left alone to fend for myself. No one would talk to me and Whenever I tried to contribute in a team discussion my points were immediately dismissed due to my lack of experience. I was getting feelings of insecurity and resentment. When I reflected on this adverse situation, I understood that I am the first fresher on the team, and I have to earn the respect of senior colleagues. I took that as a challenge and worked extremely hard to gain the domain knowledge and understand the architecture of the system. Once I gained that expertise, I started contributing to the teams work in a big way that helped me earn the trust and respect of my colleagues . And I hope the experience i gained from this experience i could put it to use in IMT Ghaziabad.

Aditya Birla Group, country’s third biggest company has associated its name with every house and every family delivering value and satisfaction. Mr. Kumar Mangalam, chairman of ABG, is one of the reasons for the company’s success. From textiles to readymade clothes, telecommunications to insurance services it has a wide range of products and services in its portfolio. Be it formals for my interview process or my sister who has a keen sense of fashion or my dad who wants it “class” we could get all of it in ABG fashion retail ltd. My mother, a conservative woman, always makes sure she reaps benefit of each rupee spent and that was one of the reasons she shops in pantaloons once in a month. When away from home, for work, every time I felt like going home, I would simply pick up my phone and call them from my IDEA network. Knowingly or unknowingly ABG has been with me in success as well as failures and it will continue to be a part of my life.

My abg story #imtghaziabad

Hailing from the capital town of Ranchi, My father was posted in Mines and Geology Department, Government of Jharkhand. I used to hear about Hindalco often as a near acquaintance of mine, Niraj Uncle used to work there stationed at Muri at a mere distance of 65 kms from Ranchi. He would proudly state that the Muri Works of Hindalco India’s first alumina refinery commissioned in 1948 by the erstwhile Indian Aluminium Company (INDAL). In 2005, Hindalco merged the plant with itself after acquiring INDAL which made big news in the corporate arena.
