Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In Your Life
Aditya Birla Group has impacted almost every aspect of life in some way or other and it continues to do so. The first thing which comes to mind hearing ABG is its Ultratech Cement. Watching those yellow coloured Cement bags during construction of my house during childhood left a prominent image in the mind. You see those advertisements on televisions and it created an image of trust with the Aditya Birla Group. One developed a feeling of belongingness with the brand. The impact was so huge that for me in childhood Cement symbolized Aditya Birla Group.
Another segment where ABG has played a significant role is Apparels. Brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England paved the way for change in fashion taste and preferences for the consumers. They catered for both formal and informal needs and provided quality apparels. Whenever the need to buy formal wear is felt the first thing which comes to mind is Van Heusen or Peter England as the quality is such that one feels confident of their self wearing them.
ABG also impacted the telecom sector significantly and its IDEA played an important role in making the network reach masses. Its objective of everyone being able to use and have a stable network touched masses and its tagline “
What an IDEA Sirji” influenced people to come up with innovative ideas. Idea’s network and efforts made people connect the ABG with innovation and saw it as a flag bearer for innovation and connecting masses. Its aim was to make people aware and vigilant which was a very good initiative and reached masses.
How Have You Made an Impact?
Everyone in their life at some point or other has to face challenges and how one deal with them is what defines them. Challenges are those stepping stones which I believe keep us going forward in life. Life would be mundane and unproductive if not tested by various challenges at different stages of life. Challenges provide us with the opportunity to upgrade ourselves constantly and become a better version of ourselves than before.
The biggest challenge for me is to be myself in any situation and not to get bogged down by external factors. There have been instances where it is very hard to sustain your true nature as fear of that not being liked by the society, your peers or friends challenges you to change your values and beliefs. That period is the true test of an individual and shows how strong its values and beliefs are.
My biggest challenge till now has been to come out my shell and speak out my mind without any hesitation and fear. I used to keep things to myself only as I was not confident of myself and my thoughts. But coming to IMI helped to overcome this challenge. After joining IMI I realised to survive in this competitive world one needs to put their point forward without thinking whether that thing would be liked or not. I now focus on what is in my control and not think too much what other will think about it. This has helped me to be more confident on myself and maintain a stable head during various situations.
