Challenge that I overcame to achieve my ambition in life
We all face tough and difficult challenges in life. To overcome challenges you need to have that "never quit" attitude in life. If you develop it, you'll overcome quite a bit.
It was a challenge for me when I started preparing for my MBA entrance exams. Hardly 4 months were left for CAT and I had not yet begun. My mind started ticking with so many questions. How will I do it? Will I actually be able to do it? My co-competitors have been preparing since a year, how will I be able to compete with them? Should I take it up or should I wait for another year? All sorts of emotions were going inside me, trying to come out. But Alas! They were so messed up that they refused to come out and kept on tickling me until I got over with all my exams.
I side-lined all the above thoughts and jumped into the pool of quantitative and verbal aptitude. I prepared for the entrances wholeheartedly with all my hard work and dedication. During the preparation period, if any demoralising thought popped up, I talked either with my mentors or with my parents and pricked the bubble of negative thoughts with the sharp pin of positivity.
Finally, I cleared the entrance exam with a good score, making it a proud moment for my family and friends. The key to my success was the belief that I can do it. To stay motivated, it is very important to be positive and confident. Moreover, having the right kind of guidance and the right set of people around you, to motivate you is very important. Today, whenever I feel like giving up, reflecting back to this day makes me strong and lights back the spark of the “never give up attitude” in me.

Third, the food and grocery retail store “More” offers a wide range of brands to the customers at affordable prices across ready-to-eat food, beverages, cereals, apparel, footwear, household cleaning essentials, personal care, and many more.
Last but not the least it has impacted millions of lives through its CSR arm. I’ve been a part of projects working on social innovation as well as various NGOs since a long time. This makes me connect to people at the grassroots and it feels really great to know about the initiatives taken up by the Birla Group in the field of Healthcare, Infrastructure, Education and Livelihood. The magnificent work done by them is definitely making our society a better place to live in.
