The impact of Aditya Birla Group has been very big upon my life. From the home, I live in to the clothes that I wear, even the healthcare facility that it provides has touched my life at some point in time. Recently, my house was reconstructed, and the cement used was none other than the Ultra tech cement. For the construction, the importance can be understood that people can live with peace of mind in a house that has been made by using quality materials. During the time of festivities and on occasions when me or my family would like to purchase clothing, brands such as Pantaloons, Peter England, and Allen Solly are the frequent store that is to be visited. As a matter of fact, most of the shirt that I select to belong to these brands. There was an incident that can be narrated to describe the importance of Aditya Birla Group into my life is one in Pune. I was feeling sick and was away from home. It was Sunday when most of the local doctor’s clinic is closed. At that point in time, I visited Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital and was diagnosed with chickenpox. This hospital was chosen with the belief that I would receive proper treatment and care and in case if I was infected with a chronic diseased then it could be identified at there itself rather than traveling once again to some other pace to get the testing done. Aditya Birla Group has been a constant brand partner with me from a young age to today and will continue to be so.

As a child, I was very talkative and constantly chattering with my friends about one thing or the other. Though I never realize and have never even considered the possibility that I could ever get stage fright or nervous when talking to an unknown person and explaining them about yourself. I first realized this problem when I was in the 8TH standard and for the first time, the teacher asked me to read a paragraph from the textbook to the entire class. The stage was unknown to me entirely. I stuttered a lot and after the paragraph was over, I hived a sigh of relieve. There I was ever confident in my communication skills never realizing that speaking in front of a familiar crowd and speaking at a stage or to someone you meet for the first time can be a great challenge. Later I was on my first flight from Delhi to Bangalore and by sheer coincidence, I got a different seat from my family during booking the flight. And there I was seated in between two strangers. My father asked if I want to change the seat and seat with mother and my brother. But I refused thinking it was just about one ride and it is not that I was going to get lost. After all, we were all on the same flight. During the flight, suddenly the middle-aged man as of sensing my discomfort tried to talk to me. He was a frequent flier and a lot about plane travel. He told me a lot about his experience and what all things that I should take note of on an airport so that my journey is smooth and I do not have to wander around always looking for a help desk for information. I could reach out to my fellow travelers as we all go to our destination. During that flight, during that conversation, I realized that speaking in front of the unknown for the first time is not that difficult and I lost my fear of the unknown as well. That was one of the time that I realize that overcoming a challenge is not just about constant effort toward it, but sometimes we can make choices that may lead us to overcome challenges along the way. We just need to have an open mind.
