I am an energetic, cheerful and an optimistic person. These characteristics have always helped in life. I have my share of success in life so far and they are visible as well. My CV social media accounts speak a lot about it. But only a few people know about the lows in my life.

I was in 6th standard when one day I suddenly collapsed due to convulsions. These convulsions repeated and after diagnosis it came into light that I had epilepsy. Epilepsy is neurological disorder where electrical signals in brain become uncontrolled. I was put on medication at a young age. For about 2-3 months I was kept away from sports, which I absolutely love. But as they say the night is darkest before the dawn. I came back strong and was adjudged the individual champion of the school athletic event in the same year. The following year I won a bronze medal at zonal event. I scored 96% in my class 10 with this monkey on my back.

After 5 years medication was stopped. It gave me sense of relief. But 2 disasters were awaiting for me. My mother was diagnosed with a brain tumour days before my KCET. I had to give one of the most important exam in my career when my mother was in an unconscious state. The second was when I was in my first year of under graduation. Epilepsy struck back again and was once again put back on medication. For a moment I thought the ground below me collapsed. I somehow coped up and put myself back on track. I did well during my under graduation course especially with 2 projects which I took up. I was adjudged the best driver at a national level Go-kart event. My academic project received a state wide recognition and even got local media coverage. In CMAT I secured an all India rank 71. Today I’m at GIM, one of the premier B-schools in India.

I know for sure that there will be many more obstacles and hurdles in my life. But my past will always be a motivation for me and will help me to surpass all of them.
