Challenges are part of life and they make a person stronger and confident than before. If we go through the life story of any successful person, the most inspiring thing will be how they faced and overcame challenges that came on their way.
One of the challenges which I have faced recently is being able to manage a drastic switch from working 9 hrs per day for around 2.5 years in an MNC to actively listening lectures for the whole day and trying to grasp whatever is taught in MBA classes. In the initial few weeks I had almost given up thinking that maybe I made a wrong choice to leave my job. But eventually I understood that it is the zeal from within which drives a person to face any obstacle that comes in its way. I paused for a while and reminded myself as to why I had decided to pursue MBA, what is my ultimate goal and the day I decided that it was my passion and dream to pursue MBA from a very long time, nothing has stopped me to work hard to fulfill my dream. I could also relate this situation to the time when I was a mere 14-year-old girl and I had stepped out of my house for the very first time for studies. I was going through plethora of feelings that time. I was emotional, scared and skeptical about everything that used to happen those days. I used to miss my family like anything and I still remember all those times when I used to feel helpless and vulnerable. Again there was one thing that drove me towards my goal and that was voice from within me which again reminded me that it was my decision to come here and I have to leave no stone unturned to reach my goal.
Now when I remember those times, I really feel proud of the way I have embraced myself and have grown to be a confident person. I feel that everyone faces some or the other challenges in their life but life is all about resilience and ability to go through all ups and downs through a positive attitude.
