Challenges are part and parcel of the life and life without challenge is as useless as a curry without a salt. The biggest problem with challenges is that our perception might make us think it as an obstacle, but all one needs is shifting in an attitude. I was a very content individual who would not like to move out of the comfort zone, or in other words I would run away from all the situations that would challenge me. One such situation in my life was opting out of the College, which gave me undergraduate degree of BBA. With the integrated program of BBA-MBA that I was enrolled in, I had the liberty to continue for MBA or take a degree and move out after completing graduation. It was a hard decision for me to decide whether to continue with the college and stay satisfied with the education I am getting or move out and explore other places for MBA where I could get more and diverse exposure. I finally decided to leave at the end of the under graduate and regretted a decision for a few days once I had a degree in my hand, thinking if I would be able to compete with other MBA aspirants who have the much better attitude than me when it comes to the entrance exams. I cribbed about my decision when I started preparations for aptitude test but I finally had an attitude change and positively decided to not look back again. That was the day and I had it, I worked more than others to score half the marks the aspirant with high aptitude would get, but I was improving and that’s what kept me going. I would fall, but to rise again with the help of my mentors who had full faith in me. The results of my aptitude exams gave me a confidence that there is no alternative to hard work and having faith in the self always works well in the end.
