Aditya Birla and its impact in my life

Since independence or I should say since the day I was born, I have heard various business houses which have contributed immensely to the growth of economy. Also, we are taught since childhood to be an all-rounder. If I speak of one such business house, it would be the ADITYA BIRLA GROUP. It has helped transform a nation, a business house which has marked its presence since the day it was born- everywhere and each time.

From the field of finance, to the fashion industry, to digital banking and making lives easy through telecom industry, it has proved itself worthy of attracting the trust of customers every single time. From travelling miles on the smooth roads through Ultratech cement, to opening my wardrobe and finding good fit brands like Forever 21 and Allen Solly; from using the Vodafone network wherever I go to drinking the Pepsi from the can that might be manufactured by the Hindalco plant: it has made my life easy and to be honest full of its presence. Also during childhood, that one brand that most of us knew was Pantaloons- a one stop solution for all fashion problems and also the affordable one.

An additional thing that I like about Aditya Birla is its logo. The colours are so vibrant and the sun in its logo spreads positivity and symbolises a bright future ahead. Like mine, it has played a significant role in the life of every Indian household and abroad. The continuous improvement the business house is making will take India to new heights.

Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far

Coming from a small town after my senior secondary school to Delhi was a challenge for me. I always had the fear of how I will make new friends in this new city. Coming from a joint family where one always has a camaraderie to a flat in Delhi where people were busy in their own lives made me miss my home every now and then. After the first week, when I went back home and met my family it was all good. In fact, those three years transformed me into a more responsible and mature person. I now knew how to take decisions on my own. There are some of my friends who contributed immensely to make those three years beautiful for me and for this, I can never thank them enough.

Another challenging situation in my life was an year drop before I came to NMIMS Bangalore to pursue my masters. I am one of those victims to whom the society said “one-year gap….how will you answer this in the interview”. I was demoralised. Negative thoughts started to form a heap. Different thoughts in a single moment and all ended at ‘if not this time also….’. But then I started to follow motivational pages and along with that giving time to my hobbies as well. It kept me occupied and gave me a break from my monotonous schedule. All the efforts paid off when I secured admission in this college and the most important of all- my family was proud of me.
