I still remember, Peter England is the first brand of which I bought formal cloths in Bengaluru. Staying away from home and without any help in choice selection, this was only brand out of the multiple brands in the outlet which was in my budget. A month had passed only of my professional career and there was an urgent need for me to buy formal cloths. On that day, I bought three shirts and two trousers. The price and quality of the clothes was good that still today when there is need to buy formal clothes, Peter England is on top of my list. The size and color of the product is the only restriction if they are not available in store. That day was the first stepping stone of the relationship that I have built with Peter England as it was like a savior for me at that time. This relationship is the result of the commitment that Peter England has provided to me. The commitment of fine quality, affordable price, size and color which forces me to think that when the required size of the particular shirt is not available, the shirt is already a part of relationship of another men with Peter England or has become the stepping stone of the new one. These relationships has made Peter England as one of the most trusted brand in Indian Market which is standing huge and tall in today’s competition for last 20 years.
This commitment, I have shown in my work when there was an opportunity of designing the user interface of an android application given to me and that my team has to show it to the leadership within 4 days. Without any advanced knowledge of android, I accepted the opportunity of creating the layout of the application. As there hadn’t been a situation of similar kind earlier in my career, it had made me a little nervous. Learned Extensible Markup Language, how it is used to create application layout in android, multiple predefined layouts in android and experimenting with them. I took help of my seniors, stayed late in office and when it was shown to the leadership, it was appreciated. Seeing my dedication and commitment, my manager commended me. My manager helped me a lot. He provided all the resources so that there is no delay from my end. Despite being nervous at first, it helped me in gaining much more confidence.
After this, a new work came in the same application but it was of creating the back end of the application. In this, the enterprise sign on was needed to be integrated with the application and this work was given to me. Completing daily tasks with sincerity was the other important responsibility. Taking all the things at the same time and completing them with accuracy, shows my commitment towards the work. Maintaining the same level of commitment throughout my MBA will be the next task for me which Peter England has delivered in Indian market.
