Obstacles are a part and parcel of one’s life. Without them, one does not grow.
Hailing from a small city like Mathura, it was difficult to move to Delhi for my graduation. The
people, the culture, the aura of the city did not match Mathura’s which made me feel lost in
the sea of people of this grandiose town. I had difficulty interacting with people and despite
not being an introvert, I displayed signs of being one wherever I went. It took me a whole
week to make one friend in the city, after putting in gigantic efforts from my side to utter my
first hello to a stranger, who seemed equally lost in this juggernaut of a place. That day I
realized that everyone has to embark their own journey whether it is professional or personal,
it’s the values and beliefs that define you as a person and gives you the strength to face any
situation that life throws at you. After that first hello, I never hesitated to talk to anyone
whether it’s coming to Mumbai for an MBA or going Bangalore for Internship. When I look back
at these years, I cherish and value these relationships
We need to give it all that it takes to make every journey joyful, and just when we immerse
ourselves in the means, the end will come to us before we even realize.
